Following China, the Redmi Note 14 series was launched in December 2024 in India. The series comes with premium features and specifications. This Note series includes three models, including the Redmi Note 14, Note 14 Pro, and Note 14 Pro Plus in Indian markets.
Redmi Note 14 Software Update Policy
Xiaomi had started offering 3 OS upgrades with the Note 13 series, whereas until the Note 12 series, Xiaomi was providing only 2 OS upgrades. Now the latest Note series also comes with the same software update policy as its predecessor.
The Note 14 series is announced with Android 14-based HyperOS 1, and Xiaomi is committed to offering three generations of OS upgrades and four years of security support for these devices. So the Note 14 series units will get Android upgrades till Android 17 and security support up to the first month of 2029.

Moreover, the most premium model of this series is the Redmi Note 14 Pro Plus, which comes with the Snapdragon 7S Gen 3 chipset. It features a triple camera setup on the backside, including a massive 200MP main sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide, and a 2MP macro sensor.
In addition, the series also has two more models, the Redmi Note 14 4G and Redmi Note 14 Pro, but these devices are currently not available in India, and the update policy for these devices has not been announced yet.
