Samsung released the February 2025 update for the Galaxy S24 series in Europe and Canada. The update has already rolled out in many regions with improvement patches to the Galaxy S24. This update adds several important improvements and features along with One UI 6.1.
The new firmware number is identified as S921WVLS4AYA1 for the Galaxy S24, S926WVLS4AYA1 for the Galaxy S24 Plus, and S921WVLS4AYA1 for the Galaxy S24 Ultra in Canada, while S921XXS4AYB2, S926XXS4AYB2, and S928XXS4AYB2 are identified for the respective devices as follows in Europe.
The update includes the February 2025 security patch, further strengthening the security of the devices. Apart from this, the update brings improvements related to device stability, bug fixes, and performance enhancements. Samsung focuses on system optimization, which enhances the battery performance and smoothness of the devices.
Additionally, the camera quality and autofocus have also been improved, making low-light photography and video recording better. The update adds the security improvements, which fix the unwanted threads and many vulnerabilities from the security system of the devices.
If you are in Europe and Canada, users can update their devices via Go to the settings > Software Update > Download and Install. If users have not received this update, they can wait for a while because this update is rolling out gradually in patches.
