Yesterday the search engine giant revealed details about its latest Android security patches, and today it started distributing them to its Pixel devices. According to the Android security bulletin, the January 2025 security update contains more than 28 patches to address a number of critical and high-level vulnerabilities.
Google Pixel device onwer can identify the January 2025 update with new firmware version AP4A.250105.002.
The update is currently rolling out for 14 Google Pixel devices. However, the update is spotted in the US on Verizon-locked units. It should be expanded to other regions as well in the coming days. Below you can see the list of Pixel devices that received the latest security patch update.
