Nothing is sledding its upcoming flagship device, the Nothing Phone 3a and 3a Plus, this year. These devices are spotted on the BIS and UL Demko platforms. According to 91mobiles, the Nothing has passed with the NT04 model number through the BIS listing, which is directed link to Nothing Phone 3a and Nothing Phone 3a Plus, and the same model number has been also spotted on the UL Demko certification website as well. Still, there is no official announcement about these devices.
Nothing Phone 3a and Phone 3a Plus Battery Leak
These devices have received Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) and UL (Underwriters Laboratories) Demko certification. According to the UL Demko certification, the device will come with a 4290mAh battery capacity, and it will be announced by 5000mAh.
Apart from this, it is expected that the Nothing Phone 3a series will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset instead of MediaTek, which will perform better.
Also, reports suggest that the upcoming series will have some significant changes in the camera, which is expected to add a telephoto camera in the base model and a periscope camera for the Plus model that would make the first devices to get these camera models in Nothing’s Mid Range lineup.
The Nothing Phone 2a and 2a Plus launched with an under price of ₹30,000, and it is expected that the Phone 3a series may start from ₹30,000 from the base variant. Besides that, leaks suggest limited information; for more specifications and features, we will have to wait for more leaks or official information.
Nothing OS 3.0 Update
Currently, Nothing is constantly focusing on its Android 15-based software update, and it has started a stable Nothing OS 3.0 phase for eligible devices. It has rolled out to the Nothing Phone (2a), Nothing Phone (2), and Nothing Phone (2a) Plus and brought many significant features and updated tools for these devices. It is expected the Nothing Phone 1 will get a stable update of Nothing OS 3.0 in February 2025.
