Samsung has just released a new update for its Camera Assistant Good Lock module for devices running One UI 7, including the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra. The update arrives with version 3.0.00.2, bringing some cool new features that improve your experience with Samsung devices.
According to the changelog, the Camera Assistant is supported on One UI 7 devices like the Galaxy S25 and it also mentions the upcoming Galaxy A56 device. This confirms that the Galaxy A series phone will run Android 15 with Samsung’s latest software.
This update mainly introduces the new HDR10+ and “Save video to external storage” feature to enhance your phone’s camera capabilities.
One UI 7 brings two new video features via Camera Assistant on Galaxy S25
Moreover, the update also brings a feature, “HDR10+.” This new option optimizes the color and contrast of videos recorded in Video and Pro Video modes. To turn on HDR10+, go to Camera Settings > Advanced Video settings.
Camera Assistant also brings the Save Videos to External Storage feature to Galaxy S25, which automatically saves videos to an external storage device connected to the USB-C port on your phone. It is compatible with several modes like Video, Pro video, Portrait Video, Slow motion, and Hyperlapse modes.
Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra camera
Talking about the Galaxy S25 Ultra camera, it has a 200-megapixel main camera with 2x optical zoom, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera, a 50MP telephoto 1 lens with 10x optical quality zoom and 5x optical zoom, and a 10MP telephoto 2 lens with 3x optical zoom. The camera setup is integrated with AI capabilities with Next Gen ProVisual Engine to deliver the best experience.
Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25+ camera
Whereas, the Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25+ come with a 50MP f1.8 Adaptive Pixel optical quality 2x main camera, a 12MP f2.2 ultra-wide camera, and a 10MP f2.4 3x optical zoom telephoto camera.
