The latest update integrates January 2025 Android security patches to address several security vulnerabilities. It also fixes app lagging issues in some scenarios. This update has been released for the OnePlus 12 running on OxygenOS 15 based on Android 15, which was given in November 2024.
Now OnePlus 12 users can make calls without the internet or network with the newly added BeaconLink feature. Basically, BeaconLink is an app that allows users to make calls to nearby people without any internet or networks. But it only works if both devices support the BeaconLink feature.
The new firmware version CPH2573_15.0.0.501(EX01) brings the January 2025 update for the OnePlus 12. These monthly updates may take time to reach all units as they are released in batches.
