A new OTA update is rolling out for the OPPO F23 in India. The update includes the January 2025 Android security patch. The brand new update can be identified with the OxygenOS 14-based new build version CPH2527_14.0.0.1620(EX01). The download package size of this software update is 566.48 MB.
The January update for the OPPO F23 contains nothing in terms of features or functionality, but still, you should update this update as it brings system stability and improved security. Will the OPPO F23 5G get the ColorOS 15-based Android 15 update?
OPPO F23 5G comes with a 2-major upgrade policy; it was announced with Android 13-based ColorOS 13, and later it received ColorOS 14. It is eligible for the Android 15 based ColorOS 15 upgrade, which is the last major update for the OPPO F23. However, it will also receive security updates till 2026.
Moreover, the OPPO F23 5G was launched with the Snapdragon 695 chipset. It houses a 6.72-inch LCD display with 120 Hz refresh rate support.
