A new OTA update is rolling out for the Realme GT 2 Pro, which brings the latest January 2025 Android security patches along with optimising system performance in some scenarios to make it more stable. The company already released the January update to a bunch of Realme devices, including the Realme GT Neo 3, Realme 14X, and Realme 10.
Realme GT 2 Pro January 2025 update details
It is delivering with new Realme UI firmware version RMX3301_14.0.0.1410(EX01) for the Realme GT 2 Pro, and the OTA firmware comes in a download package size of 1.2GB.
The update rollout started with Indian units of the Realme GT 2 Pro; further, it will also expand to other regions soon. The new OTA firmware is released in batches, so it will not be available on all devices simultaneously, so if your device is not showing this update yet, you may have to wait for a few hours or days.
The latest update does not include new features; it focused on system stability and security improvements. Users can also check the update manually by heading to Settings >> About device >> Realme UI version banner >> Update and install.
About Realme UI 6 for the GT 2 Pro
The Realme GT 2 Pro is eligible for the much-awaited Realme UI 6 upgrade, but users have to wait around two months, as it is officially scheduled for the major upgrade in March 2025. Realme UI 6 is based on Android 15 and brings various new features, animations, functionalities, a number of AI features, and more.
Moreover, the Realme UI 6 Open Beta and Early Access have already been released for lots of Realme devices, in which some also received the stable version.
