Samsung Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23 Plus, and Galaxy S23 Ultra smartphones are getting a new update with a February 2025 security update. The update is currently available in some countries on carrier-locked versions in the US and will soon expand it.

You can identify the latest firmware for Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23 Plus, and Galaxy S23 Ultra smartphones through One UI version S911USQU5CYB1, S916USQU5CYB1, S918USQU5CYB1, respectively.
According to SMR, Samsung’s February 2025 security patch fixes 1 critical and 34 high-level CVEs for Android, including two CVEs not relevant to Samsung devices. In addition, the update also includes 7 SVE items to improve user experience, addressing issues in the Samsung Find app, Android Settings, and more.
To check the firmware manually, go to your phone’s Settings. At the bottom, you will find the Software Update menu > Download and Install, just open it. Inside the submenu, if your Galaxy brings a new OTA, you need to press the Download button.
The Korean tech giant is going to release the One UI 7 stable update soon and the Galaxy S23 series models are also eligible for this big update. The company has started testing the internal build for this series and soon the stable update will be available for these devices.
