Samsung is expanding the latest February 2025 security patch. This update has gone live on many networks, and recently this patch has started rolling out on the Verizon network to flagship and foldable models. Samsung Galaxy S25 holds the update with S931USQU1AYB3, S25+ S936USQU1AYB3, and S25 Ultra S938USQU1AYB3 firmware numbers, while Galaxy Z Fold 5 identifies with F946USQS5DYA5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5 by F731USQS5DYA5 firmware number. These devices carry the update on T-Mobile, Verizon, and Spectrum Mobile networks.
The update does not bring any significant improvements, but it comes with security patches. The patch fixes many bugs and vulnerabilities; also, it addresses to prevent unwanted threads and known issues while using the application, which cause an effect in files.
Apart from this, the update improves the system performance and enhances the system security. Also, it focuses on improving the performance of Google Apps and system apps. Overall, the update optimizes the system’s stability. However, these devices have already received this monthly update on unlocked carrier networks. And Samsung will roll out this update to more networks in a batch gradually.
